At Lenscapes we will digitally restore your photos that have aged, tarnished and damaged over time. Using a high-resolution scan of your original photo, we work with the digital image. Your original photo is not harmed or changed in any way. We meticulously fix the damage to restore your photo to “like new” condition. After the photo is restored, it is then printed at the original size it was received.

Example:
If you send us a 4” x 6” photo, you will receive a restored 4” x 6”; if an 8” x 10”, the restored photo would be 8” x 10”. 
If you prefer to print a different size, uploading the digital copy that we send along with the finished print, you can do this. In this way you will be able to print, mat and frame your restored photograph using all of the features we offer at Lenscapes.

For clients who want the option of scanning their photos & e-mailing them to us. Make sure to follow these guidelines:

Scan your photos at a minimum of 300 dpi at 100% (of original Size). Use RGB color mode even if photo is a black & white. Turn off any photo enhancement features your scanner may have.

Then attach the photos to an e-mail to us with a description of what you want done, including your name address, phone number. We will respond with a written quote.

We can provide you with an e-mailed sample image of your photo after we are done repairing it for you to approve before we send your final copy back to you. This way you are guaranteed to be completely satisfied with all our work.

Minor Restoration

Removal of small scratches and/or spots.

Removal of red-eye and/or blemishes.

Adjustment of color/contrast and brightness.

NO MISSING PIECES OR FACIAL DAMAGE.

Moderate Restoration

Removal of tears and/or major scratches and spots.

Repair of stains and missing sections.

Basic Colorizations.

Basic background changes and object removal.

Price: $55 - $100

Major Restoration

Repair of major tears (i.e. Photos torn in pieces).

Repair of missing sections.

Repair of facial features or other body parts.

Major colorizations.

Addition or removal of people and/or objects.

Price: $100 and above, depending on work involved.

It is extremely hard to give an estimate without seeing what condition the original photograph is in. (In many cases, the scanner can pick up what the eye cannot see). This has to be taken into consideration of how much damage your photo has.
